CUSTOM DESIGN
Morava Glass Studio specializes in creating new stained glass panels that are designed according to the needs of the client. We have access to any variety of glass from opalescent to transparent, including beveled glass and even hand-blown rondels. The panels are made to be installed into any size or shape of window or door, including transoms, sidelites, skylights, and cabinets. For our clients with energy-efficient windows, our panels can be installed in front of double pane thermally insulated window units. Also, we are able to replicate windows from existing windows or photographs of missing windows. We often do this for those who have additions to their house, or if a historic property has been altered.
The influence of Greene & Greene in the design of this room led us to choose this design for the glass background of the bar.

The seedy glass obscures the view and glass nuggets add pops of color. The dense tree bark is solid lead.

This mosaic installation in a Frank Lloyd Wright home was inspired by nature drawings from the early 1900s.
This playful window incorporates bottle caps, jewels and even a lens from a magnifying glass.

We coordinated with the designer and hot glass shop to create this installation of windows at Marion Street Cheese Market, in Oak Park, IL. This wall of glass faces the sidewalk, but the choice of heavily textured bubble glass obscures the view while letting light in.

The designer had a certain Lafarge window in mind when she laid out the powder room. We were able to make a newer version of this window using cast jewels, bevels, and plated glass.

This is a great example of replicated panels. The top two pieces are antiques, original to the house built in the 1890s. The owner requested two new panels to be built and installed; this was our solution.
